Screaming, Teething, and Crawling.....Oh My.

Jerrod started a new job about 3 weeks ago. Since then, the babies sleeping habits have gone right out the window. Lucy particulary seems to be having issues and likes to see how much sleep she can keep mommy from getting. I do think though that part of the issue has to be with teething. Those poor babies have been drooling and fussing for months now and still have no teeth.

Last night, Lucy kept falling asleep and then waking a few hours later, screaming her little head off. Needless to say, that woke Frankie and while I actually had Lucy back to sleep in half an hour, Frankie stayed up another two hours and 15 minutes, putting me once again going to bed after the two o'clock hour. I have been so tired the last couple weeks! The three of us have been cranky.....I can't wait for those teeth to finally come in!

And on a more fun note, Frankie has started crawling of sorts. He is fun to watch, but having said that, he has done his more serious actual crawling only when Mommy isn't in the room. The little booger won't do his real crawling for me! The one who's home with him all the time, who gets up with him when he wakes, who is always there. Nope, don't get to see it. Thanks Buddy. I'm hoping he will show off his new skills for everybody this Sunday.

Lucy isn't so much into the crawling yet. It's funny how I have been told that their lack of tummy time or that they could have had more tummy time, etc is causing them to develop slower than other babies. All babies are different. Case in point, Frankie, the one who hated tummy time and objected to it loudly all the time and there for got a lot less of it is the one crawling. Miss Lulu, the one who loved tummy time, is more content to sit and watch and talk. So far she says Mama, a version of Puppy, ball and a few other babbles that I haven't quite figured out what she means yet. She love to sit up though and will do so happily for hours watching her brother move around her. She does not like it when he tries to occupy the same space as her though. =)
